How do you say in Japanese?
Results for I am pleased to meet you

The English parting phrase "pleased to meet you" is perhaps best approximated by 「よろしくお願いします」(よろしく・おねがい・します)[yorosh'ku-onegai-shimas] which roughly translates to "May we be awesome to one another" or "May we be good to one another, here on out." So it's more of a path-setting term in the Japanese context. To say more literally "It was great to meet you" after a long trip together, for example, one could say 「会えてよかった」(あえてよかった) [a'e'te-yo-ka.tta] "Being able to meet you was great!"
